Chiara Silvano vive a Venezia.
Si è laureata nel 2003 al Wimbledon College of Art, a Londra. Dopo alcuni mesi, trascorsi in Francia, all’Ecole des Beaux Arts di Nantes, torna a Venezia dove si laurea nel 2007 in Arti Visive allo IUAV con una tesi sull’arte come terapia. Ha esibito principalmente in Germania in collettive con artisti quali Baselitz, Grossman, TALR e, nel 2015 ha fatto la sua prima mostra personale a Passau, in Germania, dal titolo Il peso della leggerezza/ Das Gewicht der Leichtigkeit – Solo Show- Spitalhofstrasse 94 Passaou- Curatore: Kunstprojekte Sigrun C. M. Leyerseder). È interessata al modo in cui l’arte si intreccia al quotidiano, diventando la traccia del nostro mondo emotivo. Vede l’arte come specchio che riflette l’interiorità dell’essere umano, il non detto. Usa le sue tele come fossero un diario. Ricorrente è il rapporto con la natura. Aggiunge spesso tessuti e ricami ai suoi dipinti. ENG Chiara Silvano lives in Venice. In 2003 She graduated in Fine Art Painting at the Wimbledon College of Art, in London U.K. After few months spent at the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Nantes, in France, she went back to Italy where in 2007 she got her master’s degree in visual arts. She mainly exibithed in Germany in group shows together with artists such as Baselitz, Grossman and TAL R and in 2015 she had her first solo show in Passau, Germany (Il peso della leggerezza/ Das Gewicht der Leichtigkeit – Solo Show- Spitalhofstrasse 94 Passaou- Curator: Kunstprojekte Sigrun C. M. Leyerseder). She is very interested in the way art entwins with real life, becoming the trace of our own emotional ways of being. She sees art as a mirror reflecting our inner insight, and she seems to use it as a travel journal. We notice a constant relationship with nature.She often uses fabrics and she likes adding some little embroideries to her paintings. |
